A Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), previously served as the Special Adviser to the Attorney General of Nigeria and later became the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Lagos State(1999- 2007). He has also served the United Nations in different capacities and units including United Nations Centre on Transnational Corporations, the United National African Institute for Crime Prevention, the International Criminal Court for Rwanda in Arusha, Tanzania, the Department of Peacekeeping Operations and the United Nations Peace Operations in Somalia(UNOSOM). He is currently the Ethics Adviser to the Advisory Board of the African Development Bank
Yemi is a member of the International Bar Association, the Nigerian Body of Benchers and the Council of Legal Education in Nigeria. He is a graduate of University of Lagos and London School of Economics

Professor Osinbajo has authored, co-authored and edited several books and publications including The Unification and Reform of the Nigerian Criminal Law and Procedure Codes ; Law Development and Administration; The Annotated Civil Procedure rules of The Superior Courts in Nigeria and Cross Examination: A Trial Lawyer’s Most Potent Weapon. He has extensive practice in local and international financial and advisory services. He is married with children.

Has over 30 years of experience in aviation and is a Fellow of the prestigious Royal Aeronautical Society in England. After graduating with a B.Sc degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida, USA in 1980, he returned to Nigeria in 1982 where he joined AeroContractors Airline as a pilot. He was promoted to Chief Pilot in 1986, before being appointed the Deputy Managing Director of the airline in 2002 at which point he transformed the original Company vision from an exclusively B2B model to the more demanding B2C model.

In 2007 he joined the Africa Finance Corporation as one of its pioneer executives, a strategic career change that gave him a broader understanding of the financial management of multinational organisations. He briefly came out of airline retirement to turn-around Virgin Nigeria Airways, which was struggling under a huge financial debt burden.

Following the successful rebranding and sale of the airline to a private investor in April 2010, he returned to his passion for project development, joining Ropeways Transport Limited as Managing Director.

Mr. Yemi Ogunbiyi served as the Managing Director of Daily Times of Nigeria. Together with Kole Omotosho, Biodun Jeyifo, Wole Soyika,

Mr. Ogunbiyi was part of the drama and literature department of Ife. He then served as an Executive Director of the Guardian Newspapers In Charge of Public Affairs and Marketing.
He serves as the Chairman of Tanus Communications. He serves as a Member of Global Advisory Board at Repro India Limited. He was a Lecturer at Brooklyn College. He returned to Nigeria in the late 1970s and taught at Ife. He has written a few books on African literature. He edited the book, "Drama and Theatre in Nigeria: A Critical Source Book" a comprehensive

work on Nigerian drama. The entries in the book included various drama articles from the Nigeria Magazine which were becoming sparse and expensive at the time. Mr. Ogunbiyi is a Drama Educator. He received his secondary education from the Ibadan Boys High School and later went to University of Ibadan where he studied English Literature. He followed the footsteps of Biodun Jeyifo and proceeded to the New York University for his Masters.
